This was such a FUN challenge! I almost forgot to do something until someone posted on the circle message board that all the entries were SO CUTE...and when I went to look at them...they WERE cute! Thankfully, its a random draw for the winner (who'd will $150 to spend at cricut.com!) because mine is pretty pathetic compared to all of the rest of them - WOW - they all have elaborate backgrounds...I'm not that coordinated or talented.
I did mine this afternoon - I should have been working on treat bags for PJ's end of Kindergarten party...but I did this instead!
Ms. Pink is stylish in a brown dress supplied by Paper Doll Dress-up and accessorized by a Go Canada Leaf whilst roasting a marshmallow (from Campin Critters). The marshmallow was covered in Liquid Applique.
Mr. Blue is looking dapper in his Mountie Hat and is being uncharacteristically patriotic by waving his country's Flag (both provided by Go Canada). I wish I had pop-dotted the hat - but it was starting to rain, so I took the photos and ran inside.
All of the items on these two cute cricuts were done on white paper - I colored them all with Copics markers. I believe the size of everything was 2" - the dress was a bit long, so I had to alter it a wee bit and I think that maybe the hat, might have been 1.5.
Aw how cute!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a real marshmallow too.....yummy!!!
Adorable - you did a great job. It is wonderful to see a Canadian themed entry! Good luck in the challenge.
ReplyDeleteHA HA, Helen! I wish it WAS a marshmallow, I could gobble it up!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan. I thought of the marshmallow thing and wanted to find something for the other cricut to carry and while I was hunting through the Go Canada cartridge, I saw the flag!
ReplyDeleteThat marshmallow does look yummy!!
ReplyDeleteWay to represent us Canadian Circlets!! :)
Great work!
Adorable. I love the flag and the hat on Blue and the marshmellow on Pinky.. Great job. I think the marshmellow is perfect looks like it was cooked slightly. How fun.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha KOLA - makes me hungry too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Scrappin with the bug!
ReplyDeleteMine is pretty basic compared to all the fantastic ones - I'm not that creative...its that darn accountant gene (or is it the engineer gene...since I'm the only accountant and the rest are engineers).
Totally cute your little cricuts! Good luck on the draw!
ReplyDeletesuch fun times with the circut figures. great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane - is it really a draw? I wouldn't have a HOPE compared to the others
ReplyDeleteThanks, LB.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of re-taking my photos and adding a back-drop...we shall see. It depends on if we get an end to the rain so I can go outside for the photo op.
These are awesome! I love the Mountie!!! And the roasted marshmallow is too much!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nadia! I like the little Mountie too.
