Scrapbook Layout - 2010 You will not see me & 2010 Sing-a-Long

Not the most exciting layout...but its all about getting done 2010 photos!!!!  He liked to sit in the dryer...thankfully he only did it when I was around to make sure he didn't get stuck in there.  No clue where the font is from...

This is the end of 1st year of pre-school presentation - they were all to sing (and they did about 10 songs)...he didn't sing, but he enjoyed the music as his classmates sang.  I believe the title is from Locker Talk...but it might be quarter note.

Scrapbook Layout - 2010 Garden Fun

This was our last session of Kindermusik and the kids investigated Kathleen's beautiful backyard garden.

All of the paper is from imagine cartridges, including the tree.  I had cut the tree's leaves out a few times so I could have a variety of leaves to use to stick onto the tree.

Pop-dots are used here and there on the first page, but not on the tree on the 2nd page.    I think the tree is from enjoy the seasons.  No clue where the sign and words are from...I did ink the sign so it wasn't stark white....as well as inking and/or using copics to alter the other die cuts (including each individual leaf).

Scrapbook Layout - 2010 Kissing Bandit

He was Mr Kisser that year...wanted to kiss and hug all his friends....

The background paper is an imagine paper (I believe its vintage damask).  I don't remember where the titles are from, nor the scalloped circle OR the hearts...pathetic!  I did put Martha Stewart glitter on the hearts and they are popped up.

Scrapbook Layout - 2010 Sharp Dressed Man

These are just a bunch of cute photos of kiddo with different outfits he wore over the year.

This one also has imagine patterns (the title and arrow is flood filled from nursery tails) and I know the background paper is also from an imagine cartridge which might be Vintage Damask...why can't I remember....

For some reason, I think the font is from Boys will be Boys (or whatever its called...see...pathetic)

Scrapbook Layout - 2010 Snow time

I'm just about done the 2010 album...and took a bunch of photos of layouts that I haven't posted yet...I'm going to just slap them on here...all my my gypsy files were toasted so I have no way to go back and see where the cuts are from...if I remember, I'll include.

All the paper in this one is from IMAGINE cartridges...and surprise...I know its...Mrs frosty.  I flood-filled regular cricut carts with the same colored papers available on that imagine cart.  The title is from Storybook but I can't remember where the mittens are from, nor the "icicles" (which might be from a Martha Stewart Cake cart), not the "brrr!"

This is us, in our back yard in February after a big dump of snow...brrrr!

Its been 5 years...WOW...5

Five years ago today, my cousin Brian passed away.  He would have been turning 50 on July 1, 2014.

I think of him often and sometimes SEE him in my own reflection.  I never realized how much alike we looked...of course, he was over 6 foot tall, had less hair on his head and a beard...but our face...we look alike.

I still miss him....I miss that we had the same sense of humor, the same sarcasm, the same...lots of things and when I think of him, I feel alone because he's no longer here.  He made me LAUGH more than anyone...I miss the laughter too.

I hate mid-February

I was never a Valentine's day fan...must have been all those years without a significant other.

To make the day worse, it is the yearly reminder of my 1st miscarriage - it is NINE years (nine...wow) since I started to feel not right and was thankful that GJA had his band class that night so we wouldn't have to go out for supper on Valentines Day to celebrate the day.

So, even though the actual miscarriage happened on Feb 15, I KNOW that the process had started on Feb 14, hence why my hating of the middle of February starts on Valentine's day.
