7 years - wow
Its been 7 years since Brian died and this year, at a CA class, I sat beside a fellow that reminded me SO much of Brian. The 1st person, in 7 years, that I have found that is like him.
He had smart-ass comments to make, giggled almost uncontrollably, at someone's comment....so totally Brian. There were a couple of times he was giggling so much that he had to pass me a note to tell me what he was laughing about. It only woujld have 1 word on it, but I knew instantly what he was laughing about and he could barely even look at the note without giggling.
I left that class with a big smile on my face, that I couldn't get rid of because we had such a good day of giggles (remember, this was an Accounting class), and also because it brought back all the lovely giggles that Brian and I shared over the years.
Hope you and Bob are having some giggles and beer up in heaven.

Can't believe
We were all stunned when cousin Brian died in 2009 at the age of 45...and now, here we go again, another cousin has died.
HOILAND, Robert John
On Monday, March 14, 2016 Robert Hoiland of Edmonton, Alberta passed away suddenly at the age of 51 years.
Robert is survived by his companion Wendy; children: Martina (Ryan), Tom; grandson Alix; mother Shirley; brother Don (Jeanne); sisters: Heather (Dale) and Kathy (Albert); as well as numerous relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the Woodvale Community Hall, 4540 - 50 Street (located at the Millwoods Golf course), Edmonton, AB.
Fifty one...that is way too old (especially since I'm 52). He died of carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty furnace....totally out of the blue and sudden. Family is coming from Saskatchewan to celebrate his life.
RIP Bobby! Hope you and Brian are having a few brewskis!

Happy 106th Birthday
Today I am thinking about my Granny on what would have been her 106th birthday.
I wish that I was as full of joy and laughter as she was...I'm trying to be and maybe I'll achieve it some day soon.
This photo is of the family that could attend her 95th birthday in 2005....still quick headed & as hilarious as ever.
