My new purchase

To further feed into my addiction to my cricut, I have talked myself into purchasing a Gypsy. So, you are wondering...what is a Gypsy. Well..its a handheld device that allows you to design cuts without having to be at your cricut machine...or in my case, at the computer. This is what it looks like.

I currently have a program that allows me access to all my cricut cartridges and I can use them at the same time and it saves me time when I'm cutting out items. This will allow me to do it anywhere....the backyard, kitchen...anywhere.

I was NEVER going to get one of these when I read about them in November 2009 - crazy...what silly thing are they going to think of next?!

Actually...I decided to get one when I ordered the "Gypsy A to Z" because there was a sale on it on May 1...crazy huh...get the how-to video and not even have the contraption.

At least now I am waiting for it to arrive.

Yes...waiting...impatiently. These things cost $400 (+gst) at Michael's here...C-R-A-Z-Y! I was thinking that if we took a trip to the US this summer, I'd get one because they are around $200 down there. Then I found out that you can get them on eBay for cheap (duh...why didn't I think of that before)....and then I started stalking the eBay sales for about a week....trying to win one.

I finally did on May 9 for $132 (+$20 shipping)....right when the Cdn$ & US$ were pretty much par! WOO HOO! So...now I have to wait for 14ish days for it to arrive. Tick Tock.

I received the how-to video in the mail yesterday...ha ha...so maybe I'll know all about it before it arrives...ha ha!

When you are working on it...this is the screen that you see for designing. Its alot like the one I use on the computer.

I also got this sleeve/protector ... since I'm clumsy:
