OK, so, its time to renew for the circle and they have an early-bird renewal rate for those that signed up for the circle before Aug 1 2010 - which is fabulous and I totally took advantage of - had to keep my premier charter member status - that was one of the reasons I signed up so early that inaugural year.
The Cricut Circle costs will be as follows:
Yearly Membership $250
Quarterly Membership $70
Includes: Circle Message board, Circle Blog, Circle Facebook page, ability to attend Circle Crops, four exclusive Circle cartridges for the year....and new perks may be added throughout the year.

It is nice that the price has gone down because last year it cost $279 for the year and $80 for a quarterly membership.
