Police are investigating an early morning shooting of a 30-year-old man in southwest part of town. Paramedics called police at about 3:30 a.m. to report a man had been shot in his vehicle and drove home. The man had been shot several times near a convenience store at 199 and 53, where police recovered several shell casings. The man, who is known to police, is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and is not co-operating with police. The investigation is continuing with the involvement of the gang unit.
